Membership Information

PACSFED offers two classes of membership: Ordinary Membership and Nominal Membership, each with specific eligibility criteria and benefits.

Ordinary Membership

Who Can Apply:

  • Cooperative societies and Multi-State Co-operative societies
  • Central Government
  • State Government
  • Any corporation owned or controlled by the Central or State Government
  • National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC)

Requirements:

  • Must acquire at least one share of the federation
  • Membership fee of 100% and deposit of at least 100% of share value
  • Application submitted to Chief Executive in prescribed form
  • Applications disposed of within four months

Nominal Membership

Eligibility:

  • Admitted in the interest of promoting business
  • Membership fee: Rs. 100/- only

Restrictions:

  • Not entitled to subscribe to share capital
  • Cannot take part in management
  • No right to vote
  • Cannot contest election as Director
  • Cannot participate in General Body meetings
